1) Pidilite Industries Ltd has entered into a definitive agreement with Huntsman Group (USA) to acquire 100% stake in one of its subsidiaries in India, Huntsman Advanced Materials Solutions Private Ltd (HAMSPL). 1) MSCI will implement changes for foreign ownership limits in the MSCI global indexes containing Indian securities at the close of November 30, the index provider said in a statement. Limits will be raised or kept the same for most stocks, based on what Indian depositories have done and MSCI's simulated list. MSCI India's weight in MSCI EM will increase to 8.7% (weight increases for current constituents) and 8.8% (new additions) from the current level of 8.1%, and passive inflows of US$1.93bn and US$0.6bn, respectively. Kotak is one of the beneficiaries" among Indian corporates that will be eligible for higher investment by foreign portfolio investors who follow MSCI indexes, he said. 2) NTPC to consider the proposal for share buyback on November 2. The Aditya Birla Fashion board approved the issuance of equity shares on a preferential basis to Flipkart Investments Private Limited, a foreign portfolio investor, aggregating to Rs 1500 crore.
