I recently opened my account at the Motilal Oswal branch in Sahara Plaza, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow (Patrakar Puram), and overall my experience has been quite positive. The staff at this branch are professional and helpful — account opening was smooth, and I found the branch environment clean and welcoming. Their advisors were friendly and guided me patiently when I had questions about the different investment options offered. However, I have a few reservations. While the variety of services is impressive — from equities to mutual funds — I feel the fee structure is somewhat on the higher side compared to discount brokers, especially for someone who trades occasionally. Also, I’ve experienced delays in customer support on a couple of occasions when I had queries regarding my account, which was slightly frustrating. In summary: if you prefer a full-service broker with a physical branch nearby and don’t mind paying for convenience and support, this branch of Motilal Oswal is satisfactory. But if you’re cost-conscious or trade frequently, you might want to weigh the brokerage and fee structure carefully before committing. Vikas Sir and Shweta Ma'am are very helpful.
